Hideous front hood vent

To me, the most functional hood would have been one that actually allowed more visibility to the front.  The way GM is continuing to grow the front end of their pickup trucks, before long they will be like the Spirit of St. Louis and we all will have to look out the drivers door window to see where we are going.  I wish they would bring back the front end of my '98 Chevy 2500.

My 99 Suburban looks like a toy when parked next to my 15 Silverado...especially the hood height.

I thout it had led to but it does not. Wish it did and thought about adding an led inside the scoop...but may look odd.

Hmmm I was looking at buying and HD diesel just to get the cool functional hood scoop cuz I really like it. Problem is that I want a Denali HD in the blue color and the bean counters have decided that the awesome Ocean Blue Metallic color is discontinued on the 2500HD Denali's.

The last date to order was in Feb 2017.

They're out there, but not many.

Yeah, a quick google search suggests there might be one or two available, if I want a truck with 20k miles on it for a higher price than new.  ALMOST worth it to stay blue.

I found mine pretty easy on Auto Trader, got a steal on it too. Flew from Texas to Missouri to buy it and drove it home. It’s got 23,000 on the ticker!
