Frame wax touch up 2016 GMC help

Did you wire brush any of the rusty spots when doing touch ups, or did you just spray right over the rust?

Rust to primer paint, let dry. Then cover with wax.

on my 2016 the wax came off with a pressure washer bad and the dealer recoated the whole fram under warrenty, they said it was the worst one they ever saw and told me the new coating is alot better than factory. they had it for two days because of the special primer had to dry the recoat.

I take frame rust prevention to extremes - I fluid Film the frame twice a year and I do touch ups with white lithium grease when it's in for oil changes. So far it's done pretty good, I'm in my third winter with the truck and there's a good amount of protection on that frame to keep the salt at bay. But man it's a tough battle, just the other day I drove 100 miles through a snow storm, there must have been 100 pounds of salt on my truck when I got home.
