2015 Silverado 8 speed question

I remember seeing a post or two about TCM updates to the 8 speed. Someone said you can use the GM chat to see if and what updates your vehicle has had or can get. I bought the truck a couple months ago because it was exactly what I was looking for and being a 2015 it was about 15 grand less then new with only 18,000 miles on it. GM chat was worthless and couldn't help at all. I called one dealership so far and the service advisor was clueless. I asked if I could get the TCM updated for erratic shifting. He said they can only "reset" it and that it would then " relearn " my driving style. Ok that makes some sense but let's face it.. My driving style changes all the time. Some days I drive accerate slow and easy, sometimes I like to feel the 6.2's acceleration. Sometimes I tow heavy loads. I don't just drive my truck as a commuter vehicle to and from the same places. I'm a contractor and it gets used differently all the time.

The dealer I bought it from have me a printout of the items the past owner had it in the shop for.

1. Transfer case issue in cold weather.

2. Some wiring harness replacement and reprogram I think for the trans. or transfer case I can't remember. ( Had to do with the harness being replaced)

For those of you who have had your 8 speed shifting issues looked into what did you have done? Is there a certain update available? I don't believe this truck has had one yet. I want to call another dealer soon but thought I needed more info on any available updates.

Seems wherever I go I have to research other people's jobs and tell them what needs to be done. Not complaining just send to be my luck to always get someone who doesn't know their job.
