Brembo is now available 2096.00

how are you getting the number 2096.00? price? if so how?

2096.25 plus shipping there was another link on top brembo was already available but didn't follow the post but shopchevyparts is lot cheaper.I checked at a local dealer and they want 3,000 +.

That price is closer to the wilwoods.

How is it "pointless as hell" when over 60% of the braking power comes from the front brakes alone. No reason to put larger calipers and rotors on the rear of a vehicle that is already light in the backend, all you will do is overpower the rears and unbalance the brake bias.

Under emergency braking, with our light back ends and high center of gravity, probably like 80-90% front.

 

Rear brakes are important when towing or having a heavy load though. So likely just fine for a performance option but probably won't help much if you're goal is braking power for towing purposes.

Wilwood has a front and rear kit for these trucks with slotted and drilled 14.25" rotors and 6 piston calipers. I think right at $2k per end, a few members here run them. Much nicer looking but slightly smaller than those frying pan sized Brembo's.
