Wheel Swap - Thoughts?

These wheels came on my silverado someone swapped. I like them better over the chrome denali wheels.i have a rally edition though i have no idea what happened to the blacked out wheels it had. though i hate black wheels so i dont miss it.

Powder coating is very strong a resilient when done correctly.

How can you not like black rims? That's roughly what your rims would look like. You could also plastidip them but that's somewhat temporary.

lol, when all else fails, rub dirt on it. Your rims look good, I'd definitely do that black gloss if i did it. I am going to shop the stocks a little longer for a swap. If that doesn't work, I'll probably go the powdercoat route. Thanks again for the input guys.

I kept looking at Craigslist and eBay until I found the midnight rims I wanted for a good price, then sold my stock rims on Craigslist. I tried the swap idea first but it was more hassle than just buying the rims I wanted.

There are also wheel swap places on eBay that send you powder coated gm rims, you mount your tires on them, and ship back your stock ones to get your deposit back.

Nice, love those midnight rims. I am on the lookout for rims to purchase as well, I'm not in a huge rush so I figure I'll just keep my eyes peeled. Worst case, I can do one of the powdercoat swaps or I have a buddy that might be able to do it for me.
