Heated mirrors/turn signal upgrade?

Hey guys my dad has a 2015 LT Z71 true north and he wants the same mirrors he has (not town mirrors) but he would like to have the turn signal and heated mirrors. I was wondering if anyone know if this is just a plug and play thing or does it need to be a LTZ. Thanks

There's an extensive thread on this already. But yes it can be done and it is not plug and play.

Pgamboa on here is the man to talk to. Your dad just needs to source the mirrors (there's a cheap set now in the FS threads), a power folding switch (eBay is the cheapest) and finally the plug and play harnesses from pgamboa.

 

There's no easy way to do the wiring OEM with many harnesses and part numbers changing all the time. Phil has the easy solution. Will save you time, money, and lots of gray hairs.
