Stearing noise

So i had to put my truck in the shop for like a month and they had to change the gear assembly and i finally got it back and the stearing wheel still had slack in it not bad but you can feel the stearing wheel catch it when you turn and of course they blames it on the "big tires" that i had (33" terre grapplers) that i bough the truck with and never had this problem before i hit the ditch. So anyways now i put a 7in lift and 35s and when i turn you can hear a click/squeak/knock coming from the power stearing area. And all this is supposed to be new any ideas what the problem is?

Sounds like you have a bent/worn or lose suspension part. How many miles do you have on the truck? Take some pics of the suspension and post and we can maybe identify some areas you could check yourself. Probably will have to take to a off road suspension shop and have the lift redone as you might have several pieces tweaked in your "ditch run"

You know, that is a great question, so I looked it up. Steer, To guide (a vessel or vehicle), especially by means of a device such as a rudder, paddle, or wheel: steered. Stear, I could not find a definition, plus spell check also does not like the spelling. Who knew, I thought it was a word.
