This truck belongs to my parents but it does have 2 inch drop shackles and can't recall what the shop did to get a total of 3 inches in the rear. e8a55efd7ffdb0ab323fca2b9e6419b5.jpg

Yes indeed. Got it done the day after they rolled it off the lot. It was my gift to them mainly because I hate the look with the rake.

Getting mine done Tuesday. I was going to do it myself but, getting lazy in my old age. I did do the muffler delete today, sounds much better, it was way too quiet before.

What am i sacrificing if I went to 22's vers 20's? One thing I want to avoid is worrying about bent rims from a pothole or a bad ride due to the 22's. I'm about to pull the trigger on a new snowflake wheel / Tire setup and I'm torn. Currently I'm running OEM 17's and I don't want to sacrifice ride very much (if that's at all possible)...

I just went from a dealer loaner with 17s to my truck with 22s and I would be lying if I could tell you which rims the truck had if I didn't know.

Totally personal preference, both look good with the right rims/tires. But I'm partial to 20s for the ride and I like a little more tire.

my vote is for 22's only if going with an oversized tire (ie. 33 or 35's). Stock size 31" tires have too little sidewall for my liking. Here's my GMT900 with 305/45/22 Nitto's (~33").

I agree more sidewall is better but I'm not sure your tires with 0.4 inch more sidewall than stock 22s would be a noticeable difference?11d9890089c57c02d0d53f5302c5df5a.jpg

good point. I didn't know what the stock size rubber was on the factory 22's. My truck came with 18's and tire OD was 31", so I made the wrong assumption that the factory 22's came with the same height of tire.
