Found this while googling around, a GM CAI, part number 84016022

Wondering if anyone has it installed on a 2017?

I called dealer and it's only listed up to 2016 :/

It may well fit but I have been told by GM parts suppliers it is not for the 2017. There is a GM CAI for the 2017 , different part number , isnt available yet

So is this a good cold air intake to get? Its going to go on my 14 5.3. Been looking at the K&N though also and the 84016022 is a bit more money. Is it worth it? Looking for results not trying to waste money. Hoping for more power and better MPG as well as some type of intake sound. Let me know.

If you are seriously considering the K&N kit i suggest looking at autoanything, their house brand is called TruXP. They have an air intake kit, it’s a rebranded K&N kit. Everything down to the instructions are identical, the kit is the exact same at K&N just cheaper. Here’s mine

I have the truxp kit on my truck.2c2915806d2a6f00d6256c85610ba23e.jpg
