Damn kicker install

So I got the sub and amp kit. Screw this install. I am totally failing here can't even get the amp mounted over fuse block, power cables to sub too short wtf.

 

Anyone know what a dealer charges to install?

I think mine was $100 but not sure. I myself didn't want to deal with the install. Been installing for years and just sick of it.

Yeah has a bracket the attaches to bottom studs over box.

 

I may have to take to someone anyway, getting some intermittent weird noise.. :/

check where you ran your power wire. it might be causing some interference.

Hard to describe noise and it is not consistent. Happens at beginning of a couple songs, like weird distortion or something.

Jeez.....sounds like something I would get myself into. The amp installs over the fuse box in the footwell?

 

 

Don't be discouraged as it isn't that difficult to install. I've done two on them and the worst part is getting the wire through the firewall. Also, the finished product is worth the 2-3 hours it takes to install it.
