HID install help

I ordered a HID kit from xenonhids.com and I am not understanding how this is supposed to be installed. Did I get sent the wrong kit? Their installation section is terrible and no instructions were included with the kit. Shouldn't the connector wires that are not running through the two holes in the rubber grommet be running through them? Otherwise how does this connector connect to the plug inside the light behind the dust cover? This is on a 2015 Sierra.

Can you post a picture of everything you received? It seems like you only have the bulb and the ballast. Not the harness that it connects to.

Search youtube, there's thousands of HID install video's. It's hard to give you any actual advice without see what you have other than the rubber gromet and bulb

I'm connecting it to the gen5diy harness that plugs directly into the headlight. The photo shown is the only part that is not working correctly and it has to connect inside the light behind the shown dust cover where the old halogen connected.

Look at the photo and imagine the dust cover is installed in the headlight housing and the bulb is installed in the headlight. Now, there is the connector behind the dust cover that the halogen plugged into and I've got the shown plug that has no way of getting inside the housing to the connector.

You are obviously commenting on something that you don't know anything about or you would understand. You don't understand how the 2014-2015 Sierra headlight connectors work, so I am not looking for help from you, thanks anyway I guess.

They finally responded to my question and this was the answer:

 

Hello,

You can use precision screwdriver to release pins from the one end of the factory adapter harness.

Pull it through the grommet, and than return connector to that end.

So, word of warning about xenonhids.com, it is not plug and play with no modifications for the 2014-2015 Sierrra, unlike the master mechanic Bsky33 states. You must take the wire off the connector, insert through the holes in the grommet and reconnect the connector. Bummer, I don't want a kit I have to modify to work. I'll be returning it.

Maybe buy a better kit next time? Seems a little strange that they would run one set of wires through the plug and not the other set. Try DDM or TRS, i've had good luck there.
