Tylermadden Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Good morning! My goodness, its early. Im hoping you can help me acquire the build sheet for a 2014 silverado that I am in the midst of purchasing from a private party. Im trying to determine what items were added from the factory (as the seller is stating) and what items have been done aftermarket. Also trying to determine if the vehicle is a special edition package or just a combination of individual upgrades. I tried private messaging the GM customer support account on here but it seems they are unable to receive additional messages at this time The vin is 3GCUKREC9EG146662 any help with this would be greatly appreciated! I already used a vin decoder for the basic information, but Im looking for the specifics from the original order now. Its 4am in Denver, otherwise Id be calling up the dealership for this info. But Im one of those instant gratification kind of guys... have to solve the mystery myself ASAP! Thanks a lot! Tyler
Bomber55 Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 I got on the General Motors website and used he chat feature to request mine through a rep like someone suggested on here, and had it by email in a half hour. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
newdude Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Its in the truck in the glovebox. Just have to decipher the codes is all.
Donstar Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Welcome to this forum. The suggestions already provided should help you. My impression from your comment is you are questioning the seller. This is prudent. If you decide to pass on the deal check out what deals are available on new 17's. Model year-end prices are quite different than original sticker price. Make sure that you aren't paying close to a new vehicle price for the risks associated with a used vehicle!
txab Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Go to a local dealer and they will print it out for you
