Removing emblems - How to?

I want to remove the various emblems on my new truck. Before I just start pulling, are there any techniques to ease the process? I definately don want to damage the paint.

Tom and I removed them from my Blazer with fishing line or dental floss, I can't remember which. Then just pushed the rest of the sticky stuff off with our fingers. It was kinda rough on the fingers, but it looked good and didn't screw anything up.

Let it sit out in the sun for a few hours and it will be much easier. Use a high test strength fishing line, and wrap yur fingers with tape or wear gloves. The string can cut into yur skin, and it hurts like d@mmit! I just rolled the tape off with my fingers, and dang if the tips didn't hurt for the next 2 days! WD-40 will get off any remaining stickum.
