2017 Tahoe LS 4x4 fog light light upgrade

Our new Tahoe LS did not come with factory fog lights but do have what appears to be locations in the plastic front valance under bumper which can be cut out or removed. Has anyone added fog lights or know what kit to order so I can install a factory set up if possible? Thank you

You can pick up a set of the fog lamps on amazon or ebay for $50.

 

So the whole thing runs about $150 and can be done in a couple hours.

 

Important note, this set up does not provide for a switch to turn them on an off separately. They come on with the lights.

Following.  I was considering the gen5diy harness too. Anyone actually do this mod? I'd love to know what they bought as far as the lights and more specifically the bulbs they used

I make a harness that will allow you to have factory functionality of fog lamps. You’ll use a factory headlamp switch with the fog lamp button. The only difference from factory installed fog lamps is the indicator on the cluster won’t be active as it requires BCM programming.
