Truck is staying at 205 degrees but fan will not come on. Just changed water pump because it was leaking and thermostat tested the three relays marked cooling fans and fuses. The gauge inside cab appears to work. The fans will not come on and the lower radiator hose stays cold while the top one gets scorching hot. Please help

The truck should be at normal operating temperature at 210 degrees. Are you actually experiencing an overheating condition or are you just seeing the gauge get about halfway and thinking it’s overheating. That fans won’t come on at 205 degrees.

The top hose should be hot and the bottom relatively cool if the rad is doing it's job. Fans have no reason to kick on at 205.
