Husky box with gmc liners

Anyone have the husky gearbox under seat storage bin installed with the OEM gmc floor liners?  My dad just got a new sierra that came with the gm floor liners, and i noticed that there is a rubber hump to form a border around where the storage box would go.  Will the husky box fit nicely within this raised edge/border or is the shape too different and i need to buy him the gm oem box?

 

I love my husky box but i have the husky liners as well, so no raised border for it to fit inside of.

I can’t answer your question exactly but I can say that the OEM one is much nicer. It has more space and it actually bolts into the truck.

 

I just picked this one up for less than the cost of the Husky.

I know this is an old thread but hard to imagine no one has this setup or at least tried it.  My dad also just bought a 2018 Silverado and wants me to order him a underseat storage unit.  His truck came with the OE floor liners as well and I can't find any information that the Husky Gearbox will fit.  Even emailed Husky directly and they could only confirm that there floor liners work with their gearbox lol.  Any help would be appreciated.

So I test fitted my husky box with my dads oem floor liner that has the outline of the OEM box.  The husky box does not fit.  It's bigger than the raised outline on the floor liner and sits akward on it.  I ended up ordering my dad the OEM storage box.

I too returned the Huskey box and got the OEM because the Huskey box was putting too much weight on the edges of the OEM floor liners and was causing the edges to curl up, which was getting caught on the door when closing the door.
