Cool deal.. Where does the camera physically sit on the front.. If you have any pics would love to see it.

Zoom in under the bow tie, you can see the black little camera

This is it in motion...obviously a phone recording isn't gonna do justice but you get the idea!! I use this everyday in tight parking spots or whatever I want or need to see up front.

Very Nice, clean looking... Now that it is installed do you love the location or would you go lower or higher mounting location on the grill. Just curious.

The dealer actually mounted it under the bow tie at first and it was not the best spot at all!! I remounted it where it is at now and I can actually see my front bumper which is very crucial in the mounting of the camera that way you can actually judge how close you are to the object in front

Do you know if there is a kit for the 2015 as well. I don't see it on the accessory site.

- scratch that. I see it now. It looks like an aftermarket kit.

This has hit the top of my birthday wish list.  Thank you,  jmiller11331!  Do grid lines appear when you get close to an obstacle?

No grid lines.. but it is very useful and helpful the way it is!! I can't tell you how many times a day I use it!! It's a great investment

Thinking about doing this myself with the alpine head unit at same time.

Just wish this was a factory installed option from the get go like the fords.

Say what you want but IMO gm always seems to be a generation behind when it comes to trucks.

I wouldn't consider GM trucks to be behind any competitor.  The consumer has a significant impact on what manufacturer's will include in their vehicles.  I chose my current truck largely due to the fact that it feels like I'm driving a truck, not a computer.

When it's all installed, just hold the back button on the infotainment system for 3 seconds and it switches to the front view and it will stay on the front camera until you hit the back button again!! What's cool is, you can drive with it on all the time

Does this interfere with the normal function of the back button?

Yes it's on the accessories website and it's $400 installed...I had a 20% off code and got everything for $300. Works amazing well and I am so happy with it

Jmiller, can you share the gm part number? Or a link to the item? Thanks.
