Add GM backup camera?

I’ve got a 17 Silverado, Custom, didn’t come with a camera, wife’s car has one. 

Thinking there’s threads about adding radio controls to the steering wheel, what about a camera?

dont know if the 2017 has the wiring in it but my 2014 did bought the camera and tailgate handle and the got the programmer from obd genie

What was your cost for all that? Did you try just the camera and handle?

at the time i did it the obdgenie was 199 and the handle was 65 and the camera was 85. i was told after that some dealerships can do the hmi programming but i couldnt find one so i bought the obdgenie. just checked their website and it is still 199
