Backup assist?

Anybody else catch the knob above the 4wd selector buttons? It looks an awful lot like fords backup assist. Maybe some tech they haven’t announced yet? Guess we’ll find out soon enough!

Was assuming it was a selector for the 2wd/4wd systems. Cannot imagine they would put something as sensitive as park assist over top of drive systems.

It’s a drive mode selector for things like “sport” mode. Maybe even “eco” & “tow” etc.

This.

 

On the lower trims it has white logos that are there all the time.

On the upper trims the dial locations are backlit and only light up when you select that particular mode.

No they moved the trailer brake control to the lower right of the steering column (near the AUX switches).
