Help, no data label in glove box

Hello everyone,

Tim Heslin here.

Just signed up and not sure if I'm in the correct area for this ?

We just purchased a new 2018 Silverado 1500 Z71 ccsb 4x4, 5.3.    

No data code label in the glove box, salesman said Chevy is no longer using these. I call bs.

I called another daelership and the parts guy went out and checked, he said the 4 Silverado 1500 he looked at had the stickers in the box...

The dealer printed out a paper with the codes but we asked them to provide us a label to put in the box. They are blowing us off....

Any word or help on this rare situation ?

I typed this on the net search eng several ways, could not find anything on this topic.

Can lay this to rest now, l am going to forward this link to the several Chevy guys I spoke with.
