Different charging mat

I remmeber seeing somewhere they changed the rubber mat for the wirless charger from 2017 to 2018. Does some one have the info on that. I know @pgamboa mentions it, and i saw a picture somewhere but i cant find it and im trying to locate the part number. One of the part number is 22946567

The 9 and 10-rib rubber mats share the same part number.  Most folks who've ordered one report they received the old-style 9-rib version.  When stock of it runs out, they'll all be the new 10-rib.

It sucks that GM uses the same part # for two different part revisions. I guess we have to wait and see or order and roll the dice.

I ordered a totally differnet part number. This one 22946567 We will see what happens!. There is a post where some one cut it and made their own. Im not opposed to doing that except they didnt go into details yet. Paging @2017SierraSLT   Perhaps he will also answer if the brushed aluminium trim ring he ordered, actually matches the low gloss axiom finish that apparently we both have.

I can speak to the axiom/burnish metal trim colors. The charging pad trim ring is the burnish color which, to my knowledge, is a Denali specific color and matches the rest of its metal trim. The axiom on the SLT/SLE has a more “silver” hue. Both are metal overlaid on a plastic frame.

 

 

For the SUV platform (I don’t know if the trucks are the same), the Tahoe/Suburban has its own color, synthesis. It’s a darker gray/silver painted plastic.

super helpful thanks. I was probably not gonna order that ring because its 50.00 but now I definitely wont because even tho its not much difference it will annoy me. The sle and slt have axiom and, wood finishes. I think the synthesis is a chevy color. At least in my research almost all trim levels have the axiom dash with different wood trims. The console i just put in has grand lace wood trim which matches my door inserts.

Can anyone confirm whether the Samsung s8+ will work with the wireless charging pad? or is it too wide and I'd need to upgrade my mat?  I have a 16
