Do dealerships not provide build sheets any longer? I called a local dealership, and two separate times they told me they will email it to me and never have. I called another and the said because I didn't buy it from them they can't help me. There also used to be a GM site you could do VIN decoding but seems it's shut down. The only place I can seem to find it is that comp nine site but it's 5 bucks but idk if it's legit or not.

I just had a chat over at my.cheverolet and they were able to list the build sheet on my 2016.

Your dealers you tried are just lazy.  Did you try their parts counter?  Whether you bought there or not, they can help.

I keep getting sent to the service area. I've tried Starling Chevrolet, Carl Black Chevrolet, and New Smyrna Chevrolet. Got nothing yet from any of them and I've tried a mix of calling and online chatting with them. Have any suggestions for a helpful dealer?

Are you looking for a build sheet for a 2003 Suburban?  If so, I wonder if the age of your vehicle is a factor.

GM's system can pull to like 1998?  But the parts department can usually get all the way to 1992-ish.

Starling Chevy and New Smyrna both acted like it was no problem and just never got back with me, even after multiple calls/IMs. Carl Black is the only one who flat refused stating, not that age, but the fact I didn't buy it from them was the issue.

Email your vin to [email protected] and they'll send you a build sheet.

This is the one that worked! Thanks everyone! They had it to me super fast and it was all together on 2 pages, exactly what I was looking for!

Glad it worked for you! I though this was the coolest thing when I got it. Shows every option included with your truck!

Yup.. That's how I got mine. They sent it to me in lass than 24 hours.

The main thing is that it's the real deal.. I've seen a few half ass 3rd party ones by running my VIN, but they definitely weren't the official GM build sheets.
