My new 2018 GMC Sierra SLT premium plus Max tow crew cab standard bed

Recommended Posts

Finally purchased a K2XX!

2018 GMC Sierra SLT premium plus

6.2L 8L90 max tow

crew cab standard bed 6.6’

Purchased at Laura GMC. Flew in and drove home. Great experience. No BS, no games, etc.

I plan on putting bilstien on to raise front a bit to stuff a set of 285/70/17 big k02. Also need to order mud flaps and weather techs.  Need to decide on hunting g down a topper / shell or getting a roll up tonneau cover.

Removing steps and premium plus wheels.

Have 1600 miles on it. Super smooth.

Disable the traction control and smoke em whenever :-)

Nice truck definitely something I’m looking for so you like Laura Buick? How was the experience there? Can you wheel and deal with them much?

No haggling or getting price lower. Price on website is lowest they will sell vehicle for. Same price for everyone. They had an additional 1k off sale price If financing through GM and holding loan for at least 181 days until refinancing.

Overall good experience. All sales people are very busy and working with at least 2 or more customers at once. I was pretty much on my own to explore the lot and options. I already new what I wanted so they had that ready when I arrived.

it was sale price + 182 doc fee + $10 temp license fee + tax if your state is a reciprocal tax state. They offer you the extended warranty and protection programs without pressure. I declined.

My local dealers have a $400 or $500 doc fee along with paint protection and interior protection (already added to vechile) bs which adds $800 or more to price.

So just saving in those fees was worth the plane ticket, gas and my time.

Nice truck! One word of advice, skip the weather tech and go with Husky.

Difference?

I liked the gmc branded floor mats that looked identical to weathertec at dealer but figured I could get a set cheaper than from the dealer.

Congrats on the truck! Guessing photo location was in Kansas on your way back out west?

Per the question above dealing with Laura. Great place. No, they do not hound you on the lot nor will they haggle over the posted price. Sales people there are completely different(read as better) than any place I have been in the past.
