I know the feeling. There's more mods I want to do to mine still but between trying to find time and convince my wife it's needed, I'm already tired. LOL

^^^well there's the problem!  :)

i will let my wife know the bigger (more expensive) mods, but anything under a couple hundred bucks she usually finds out about after it's in!   ha! ha!

might i make a suggestion...if color match grill and bumper is going to cost you that much...you can just get a color match grill and upgrade you bumper...mine was give or take $1000...and no, i dont have to worry about rock chips on my bumper [emoji4]5b23afe45c332_fronttruck.thumb.jpg.ca12083bdde0d43ca4a8a85b22c546a2.jpg
I have my eyes peeled if I see parts that match my truck instead of paining mine. That bumper looks good but I'll be lowering mine and I don't know how good that bumper will look on a lowered truck.

I did that once with my old Tahoe. Had it lifted 3" without her knowing, said I was gonna change the "shocks". She noticed when she almost fell trying to get out, said, did you raise the truck?? LOL  Told her, no, the shocks just need to settle a little.

Luckily I’m a 21 year old without a wife so I can do what I can and my girlfriend can’t and doesn’t do anything about it! I also help her with her challenger so she’s more on my side for my mods anyways

Do you have a picture showing how much wider it is than the regular bumper? I love the bumper. Where’d you get it from?

i would agree, this might not be the best bumper for a lowered truck...however, maybe simply the idea of an after market bumper might be an option to consider that could help resist chipping, but give you the look you're after!

i got it from one of the Realtruck.com, or like websites, i cant really remember...dont be scared to negotiate with those and pit them against  each other on a price war! haha!

it is an Ironcross HD bumper...you can google them up...here is a side pic...i didnt want a huge bumper, this was the most economical and lowest profile i could find at the time, it doesnt stick out near as much as a lot of them do...i've been really happy with it!5b1e6d33a9468_truck3.thumb.jpg.bc2bc849947a3ca54e0dd2f2c685cd2d.jpg

Since you replaced your stock bumper and it's probably collecting dust somewhere how about I'll send you a PM with my address and you send it to me haha
