Fuel tank size?

OP said diesel tanks.. Ford F-150 diesel doesn't come with the bigger tank. I am sure of that.

My 2016 F-150 had the 36-gallon tank but I got around 20 mpg highway while my current SIlverado has achieved 28 mpg at one point (going 60 mph on a flat surface for 100 miles). I actually average at 24 mpg if I'm going 70.

I had initial concerns since I am always driving to Hermosillo, Sonora, and I hate re-filling in cities before Hermosillo due to bandidos and issues with kidnapping, so I had to figure out how long the reservoir was just in case. Now, I fill up in Mexicali and try not to refuel all the way.

He says the only thread he saw was about diesel tanks. 

 

Empty driving isn't a concern. Tow a trailer getting 9-12 then the tiny tank becomes a pickle
