There is a bulletin for aftermarket charging devices plugged into a charging outlet and causing radio frequency interference resulting in a no crank condition.  A long shot but I've seen it on two other vehicles.  So maybe make sure nothing is plugged into any power outlets when attempting to start vehicle.  Bulletin# 4925915

There is also bulletin 4604102 that states the engine wire harness may rub against the vacuum pump pulley causing numerous issues including a no crank condition.

Was really hoping it was rubbing the vacuum pump but it was a few inches from it with no signs they’ve ever touched. But thanks for the heads up. Any information is greatly appreciated at this point. Have it narrowed to something that may be heat related

Okay ground to the chassis looked great. Took it off just to be sure, cleaned with a wire brush and tightened. Not sure where the second ground goes.

Curious how you got the cable off at the engine??? - as mine is behind the trans stick tube bracket (out of site). As to the 2nd line, mine runs down to the frame right behind the tire, between mud flap and well liner.

Curious on the solution - new harness required once wires cut - but if not 'rubbed' yet do they have a shield or tie down recommendation, or some type of wrap to protect the harness?

I was able to trace it to the engine, didn’t have enough room to get a socket on it. But appeared to be tight no with signs of looseness. Mechanic at a local dealer told me this morning it sounds like ignition switch but I would like to think that wouldn’t just cause the problem once the engine and parts were heated up

It's repair as needed.  No replacing.

What about chargers being plugged in outlets?

I did have an iPhone charger plugged into the USB port in my center console. Haven’t tried it without it plugged in. I’m taking to to Chevy dealer today so I’ll make sure it isn’t plugged in on my way out there. Sure it’s a long shot but worth a try

This is the switch. You have to drop the transmission pan and you can’t miss it. Appears 2 bolts hold it into place and plugs right up. Feel free to share if you hear of anyone else with similar issues. The switch was $70 at local parts store

You dropped the pan or a heat shield?

FYI - my fix so far is a new negative cable (1 week trouble free but I wince every time I turn the key to start position). I can state that P/N: 84319729 is not a direct replacement like GMParts stated. This cable is about 1 foot longer then the original P/N: 23138970 at the engine side.
