Hey everyone. I'm looking for tips on how to get the search function to work. I've tried searching for "maximum tire size with 2"rough country leveling kit" and changing some of the search parameters. Either I get no results or everything under the sun. No, I don't feel like reading through the 439 pages for the cumbersome 2014+ leveling kit post (which is so long it's ridiculous). I actually read through a bunch of it and never found what I was looking for. Lord knows I don't want to start a new thread on the topic as I'll get run out of town. I couldn't find a sticky regarding the search function, though I could have missed it. Thanks.

It's not the best.

I've found it's better to use google. Then include "gm trucks" or "gm-trucks.com". Usually there's an option on google that shows "view more results from gm-trucks.com"

Hey guys!!

Just did the 2" Level on '17 Sierra AT.

So after too many hours looking this up it seems that the largest one can go and not rub (involves zip tie-ing the felt back a little)

ON FACTORY WHEELS

Tall: 285/65r20

Wide: 305/55r20

correct?

On a 2 inch level 33's with a MT tread design will definitely rub. A 275/60, 295/55, 285/60 with an AT design should be good to go. Don't think an AT 275/65, 295/60 or 305/55 will work without some rub.

Thanks James. I'll give it a try.

No problem Ted! Happy searching!

I wish there was a template or sticky on this site. I was on a tundra forum that had all the info you could ever want in any subtopic stickied at the top of the thread.

Maybe SierraDan could do that since he posts so much. :P

Ok, that search idea worked awesome. Thanks gain James. Seems that I'll be ordering some 275/65/20 BFG at the end of the month and have the possibility of a slight rub. I also came across this tire size comparison site: https://tiresize.com/comparison/

Haha actually Thank You for not starting a new topic and actually searching. You will be fine with that size. Majority of time what rubs is the inner fender liner which can be trimmed.

Mine rubs when i back up and turn the wheel almost full lock. I just let it rub. Hey, its got to stop rubbing at some point right lol

275/65/20 in BFG's usually don't have rub due to the BFG's being a tad bit smaller than other brands. Hope you can find a deal on some!

I also really like that tiresize site too. It's on my bookmarks.

BFG KO2s in 275/65/20 should work alright with 2 inch level. No/minimal rubbing at full lock.  As stated above BFGs run slightly smaller.
