Driver Pillar Door Handle

Ordering mine when CA SDI comes in or when I return to work, whichever happens first.  Recovering from a broken left foot, it’s a bit of a pain getting in/out without the handle.  Even my (short) wife finds it easier to get in the 2500s/3500s (especially 4x4), which seem to come standard with them, and wants me to get one.  I’m seriously debating about jumping the gun, and getting sooner, rather than later.

Just picked one up on eBay for less than $40 shipped.  Was cheaper than Chevy Accessories even with a coupon code.  One of the easiest mods you can do.

Whats involved in installing one of these on a 2017 Silverado 1500 ?

It’s really as easy as popping the old one off and bolting in the new one with the supplied bolts. Make sure the bottom is aligned correctly with the dash speaker cover first and the top will fall into place.

Supposedly, it’s very easy.  Just need to pull the panel that’s there off, and install the handle piece, tighten the bolts, and install cover plugs over the bolts.

I just did this install on my 18 Silverado. Was very easy. Pull it apart and lift it out, make sure the retainer clips don’t stay in and just slide in the handle. Pops in effortlessly

A very stupid question, but when ordering this, how do I tell if my interior is a gray or shale color? I have my build sheet but I am not sure where to look that up at.

Got it on today. Having a second person to hold everything in place while you start the screws would be a big help, I didnt. Captainzombie, one color is grey the other tan, just look at the one on the truck now

Thanks! My interior is gray so it has to be gray. I'll order this tonight.
