Control arms hit after suspension mods please help

I have a 2014 sierra slt, 4wd

originally from the dealer it’s had a 1” RCX spacer under the shock

i installed a 2.5” spacer on top of the strut and the diff drop kit and my arms hit the droop stop

the tech at the alignment shop told me to order the lift knuckles “spindles” from RCX to

make the arms clear

well they didnt clear and are hitting the droop

stop and strut coil now!!

Im at a loss what can i do???

to begin with from tire to fender i has 7.5” of height

after top spacer i had 10.5” of height

now after spindle install i have 11.25”

i dont want to get higher and higher i just want my arms not to hit anymore

If i cut them out wont that affect the geometry of the front end??

is there another route that i could go?

And to my understanding cutting the droop stops wont help the problem of the upper control arms hitting the bottom coil of the spring

Get a real lift.  your anglesare probably horrible. Especially your front cvs

Well i wasnt look for a lift just a leveling kit

hence why i got leveling spacer and not a whole kit

thanks for the info

You can cut the droop stop out and get aftermarket control arms. You could also drop it down a bit and just cut the stop out. Your third option is to drop it down enough that you don't have either issue (probably somewhere around 2.5" max lift).

Are the lift spindles helping any?

Are the lift spindles helping any? They are from RCX

would cutting the droop stops have negative effects?

what control arms should I get?

thanks for the input man

I believe the spindles are helping your angles on ball joints, etc. My Fabtech lift has you cut out the droop stops and I haven't had any issues doing that. I don't offroad my truck either so couldn't tell you whether there are or aren't any negative effects if you do so. I think the spindles are probably a better form of lift than the strut spacers.

Take the 1"spacer out and youll be fine
This is what I would honestly try first.

I will try this in the morning, if if doesnt what would be the next logical thing? Aftermarket upper control arms? Cause my stock ones are rubbing the coil

I have aftermarket control arms and coil overs. My droop stops are also cut, and my coilover is now the limiting factor in uptravel.

If I attempted to put the factory coil spring back in, it would hit my control arms at full droop. Aftermarket Coil overs have a smaller diameter. If I were you I’d remove the spindles and cut the droop stops out. You should be fine after that.

Reason i added the spindles was because the alignment guy told me he wouldn’t align the truck without the spindles because they are “the right thing” and wouldnt touch it if i cut the droop stops

my control arms werent touching my coil before the spindles now they are

these are the spindles
