That’s how my drivers side was. Pull the caliper and rotor and look for dried up grease dust slung all over the backing plate.

So....I was in the middle of replacing a lot of steering parts and decided to preemptively replace the hubs, since I'm at 95k miles.   I started reading and stumbled on a foreign youtube video that the guy was greasing the hubs thru the ABS sensor hole.   I keep searching and find all kinds of owners are doing this on Ford SuperDuty, Ram, and GM trucks.

One pro mechanic has been doing this to his fleet and extended life and reduced fleet costs of hubs drastically.   Tips | Courtsara

And he posted on some other forums as well.  How to grease the Sealed hub bearings | GM Truck Club Forum

I'm still replacing my hubs, but will keep in mind his recommendations.
