So I put a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit on the front and was wondering if anybody has that set up with 2 inches on the back also. 1500 Sierra.

Do you mean raising the rear 2" over stock or replacing the stock block with a 2" one? The 2" block gives you 1" lift.

I have a 2.5" front level with a 2" block in the rear so that it still has a slight 3/4" rake.

I have a 2.5” leveling top coil spacer and 2” blocks in the rear in place of the oem 1.25” and as previously stated it provides a just about a 3/4” rake. First i tried out the 1.5” blocks but it wasn’t enough the truck would still give a nose high appearance. ff4db9fbecbf761839a476d50a16f71b.jpg

I always put a block in the back because I load my truck from time to time. If you just do the front, the truck rides level when used as a car, but when you use it as a truck and load it up, its sacked out and looking at the sky, kind of counter-intuitive to a truck being made for hauling stuff. Mine is a 2.5 kit with a 2" steel block and shock extensions in the rear. I can clear a 33x12.5 R20. You can see how my truck sits with a load on it, and you can imagine how much worse it would be without that rear block.

As the other members said, 2.5 front and a 2” replacement block in the rear will give you just a slight rake. It makes for a good looking and functional truck.

If the op meant 2” additional in the rear then you’re lifting the entire truck and only bringing the nose up .5 inch in relation to the rear. Which is what guys do that want bigger tires and like the stock rake or they load the rear heavy or tow near max.

Where did you get the rear blocks? I have a 2" up front and stock in the rear. An extra 1/4-3/4" in the rear would be nice as I sit almost exactly level with no load.

Here is my truck before I lifted it. This is with 2.25" Readylift leveling kit up front and 2.25" Readylift rear block (1" lift compared to stock). 3c70488d404ef04e4d4a99214886fb18.jpge79b56cf46fec8d36e0203c9147e2bb6.jpg

    • You're better read than that Atlas. 😏   British science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke formulated three adages that are known as Clarke's three laws, of which the third law – that "any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" – is the best known and most widely cited.   Stribeck and the pivotable Hersey Number isn't voodoo nor snake oil. That part is physics. It's what marketing and bean counters do with it that is snake oil and voodoo.    Stribeck is the relationship between Hersey and the Coefficient of Friction. Within the Hersey Equation if viscosity and viscosity is 'Dependent' on.......heat.......and.......viscosity index or the temperature to viscosity slope.    Specifically Hersey is the viscosity AT THE TEMPERATURE IN THAT LOCATION FOR THAT SLOPE.   Hydrodynamic lubrication exist when the film thickness in the location is 3X the Ra roughness of the surface. This is irrespective of the hardness of the substrate. To obtain that thickness X viscosity is required for Y velocity at Z load. That's a lot of moving parts. It is also impossible to maintain in an ICE but nearly possible with a turbine under constant load.    What does that mean? Error heavy and operate light. Wear is inevitable but the rate of wear and the milage obtainable are a function of prevailing conditions and HABITS. The only penalty is viscous drag and at fractions so low as to be well worth the effort. Double the life, half the manufacturing carbon foot print. Greed is the only impediment.    The materials generated by SwRI are the RESULT not an estimation or a hypothesis.    Don't delude yourself sir, EV's have as many pitfalls as ICE's. We just don't know what they are yet and it will take longer to sort as MARKETING and GREEDY CEO's have had more time to polish the turd they are selling.
    • You can always count on greed to prey on ignorance and stupidity.    Friend bought a 2019 Ford Flex and asked me about using Valvoline R&P 5W30 in it. Told him give the miles on it and the fact it wasn't yet using oil that it was a good plan. He uses a Valvoline quick change shop for his oil service.   First they tell him that isn't the oil the OEM recommends. He told them he didn't care what the OEM thought. Then they floated the, "But it will void your warranty"    His reply was it's a 2019, there is no warranty and informed them their knowledge of the law was lacking.    Then they tell him 'But it will ruin your motor"!.    Mine to ruin he says. Finally they give in and charge him 150% the semi-syn price    Point it the brainwash is so embedded that even the service industry is drunk on their swill. The public is right behind them. Echoing the same lies on every forum and media platform. If the end goal is indeed EV then I'd say that ship is about built.
    • Diesel hit $6.00 here today at the truck stop.   Payed $2.79 for E85 today too.
