5.3 build

Hey y’all I’m looking into building a 5.3 l83 and I was wondering what a safe overbore would be and how much cid would I be at if I bore the 5.3 out and use a 3.900 stroked crank? The truck is currently having a whipple 2.9l sc and arh headers with borla exhaust being added to it. Eventually I want to build the block so I’m trying to come up with a plan for the near future

I'm not sure what a "safe" bore would be for that engine. I would consult a professional engine builder for that question. Or whoever you're taking the truck to for the install should have an idea.

I did consult the installer and they said with the LT1 6.2l blocks only being 1700$+ I should go that route and build a 416. I’m just not sure if I want to do that swap but it is an option I’m kicking around.

Thanks man, It’s a stage 4 10-12 inch adjustable bulletproof lift with 24/12 American forces on rbp 37’s.
