Android Auto retrofit

Hello, 

 

I have been doing some research about getting android auto in my 2015 1500 Silverado LT. It already has the 8 in touch screen with chevy mylink. I am just wondering what company had the best kit/the easiest installation process. 

Any help is appreciated

You will need to message gamboa or whites. They program the new hardware then it is plug and play and enjoy.

But yeah, search for MVI for comprehensive details on what is available and what you'll need specific to your application. Odds are with a 2015 LT, you'll need a new radio module and HMI for full AA functionality. You can buy them from 3rd party and have them reprogrammed for your truck (more cost effective, but recommend research or help from CWhite) or buy the full package from MVI.

I went the MVI route with my 2015 Sierra SLT with factory Nav.  It's nice to have multiple choices without tying up the phone
