Factory GM spray in bedliner, just my thoughts on it.

I won’t be installing a drop in bedliner over the spray-on liner. I hope it is what everyone is saying it is. I’ll let you know how I like the spray-on liner.

I had a 2005 1500 that I had the Line-X sprayed in the bed.  Although it was a little more slippery than Rhino, I loved the look of it.  Sold the truck this past summer, and the liner still looked like new.  I had a 2019 3500 with the factory liner and didn't see anything wrong with it, but I only had that truck for about a year.  I now have a 2020 Dually with the factory spray-on.  The dealer had to get me a new tailgate; I am concerned with the new spray-on for the tailgate matching the bed.  Guess we'll see.

Very satisfied with the factory spray in. It is extremely nonskid, but sprays off easily. I've had some small boulders bouncing around in the back and only the non skid got scuffed up. There were no splits or chipping in the finish. Hoping it's uv safe as well. Glad to be away from a slide in liner. Also, I believe that applying it to a fresh paint job allows for a chemical bond which is more durable than a mechanical bond from sanding.

Put 105k miles on my 2016 with the factory spray on and it still looked great when I traded it in on my 2020 with a factory spray on liner.

I had the factory spray in liner on my 2015 and it got used at least twice a week.  Not to mention tossing in fire wood, generators, tool boxes, propane tanks and even a half ton of scrap metal.  In 5 years of abuse I never had it lift, peel or chip.  That's why I made sure my 2020 had it listed as an option before purchasing.
