I went with 20” wheels and swapped the stock Bridgestone AT for a Nitto Ridge Grappler. To me this is the best combo for a 70/30 mix of on/off road.

Personally, I think the 20” AT4 wheels look great imho.  But definitely would give the truck a more aggressive look with a nice set of terra grapplers or ridge grapplers, or any other nice tire.

I have the 20 Inch AT4 rims on Dueler A/T's. The more aggressive style of rim and tires would definitely mean more road noise and a less comfortable ride and I don't want any of that.

Stock size 33”. Wasn’t interested in going bigger on the stock wheel , just wanted a more aggressive tire then the Bridgestone RHS it came with.

What are the exact dimensions on your grapplers, look great!

I was on the fence when looking. Once I saw them in person and drove them both I went with the 20”. I also agree they look way better in person.

Coming from a ZR2 with the duratracs, there's no comparison with ride quality; the 20" Bridgestone Duelers are amazingly quieter and smoother ride for me at least, and are also nominally a 33" tire, 275/60-20 vs. the 275/65-18 duratracs (32"). I'll eventually move to a 34 or 35 tire size and maybe add spacers for a wider stance, but I'm really enjoying the ride quality compared to my ZR2. May even consider powder coating the stock 20" wheels all black.

I thought the multimatic shocks rode amazing on the road, is that not the case? I haven't rode in a ZR2 but that is what I have heard owners say and reviews, kind of like how the Raptor ride better than the regular versions with the soft off road suspension aimed towards the desert. Was it just the aggressiveness of the tires?

How an off road package has an option for a bigger wheel is beyond me, that is counter intuitive of the purpose of the package. On top of that the larger wheels ride worse and are more expensive to replace compared to the smaller counterparts. Like those jeeps running around with dished larger wheels it just says I bought the truck for the looks not the intended purpose, as no one who goes off road is going to choose the larger wheel and reduce their capability. The last thing I want in the back country is a better chance of pinching a tire to the wheel or the other draw backs (traction, ride, protection) with the smaller sidewall.
