LEVEL KIT AT4 or Trail Boss

Recommended Posts

Has anyone purchased and installed a leveling kit for the front of a 2019 GMC AT4 or Chevy Trail Boss? It looks like it needs approx 1.5" to be level. I'm not finding anything from Ready lift or Rough Country.

Currently a level kit for the Trail Boss or AT4 does not exist yet.  Nobody has put one out as of now,  a lot of guys have been using the motofab  1” or 1.5” level kit on the trucks. It works but it is not recommended.

Thank you for the info. I wonder why it isn't recommended? It looks like a straight forward install. I've called Motofab 2 times, once for sales and once for Tech support, no one has returned my call. Makes me think they are a small one man operation that is overwhelmed.

It's not recommended cuz it's like lifting the car 4 inches.  Your stacking a 2 inch factory lift with another 1.5 to 2 inch spacer.  It's not good for the angles of the axles, ball joints, etc.  That being said, the 1.5 Motofab level seems to be fine so far, but it's your choice if you wanna wait or just install it and hope down the road you dont have issues.

The At4 an Trailboss does Not have an lift kit installed on it from factory. What they have is: Longer Struts , Longer Axles and longer upper A arm and simple blocks in rear leaf springs with longer shocks. This exactly how Gm raises these two models 2”.

Yeah, also known as a "factory lift"  :)
