Touchscreen Display Upgrade

I have a 2014 Silverado 2500HD LT mostly a basic interior. Can upgrade to a touchscreen display infotainment system with some kind of factory style fitment? I've uploaded a picture of what I have now. There is nothing wrong it, just wanted a fancier version.

You can find the factory navigation/radio's for around $500. Another option would be the Alpine Restyle kit but they are significantly more expensive. It really depends on what features you are looking to gain.

Did HDs get the updates a year later than the 1500s? That interior is the previous gen. Nothing for a 2014-18 1500 will work on yours.

You can fit any double din radio in there with a dash installation kit.

I had a Rosen factory head unit in mine, all pnp. It was great found a cable (oem) from an impala forum that I used to adapt a USB port from the radio to the dash in place of one of the 12v outlets (being a 14 yours may already have that feature).

Yes, K2 1500’s are 2014-2019 and K2 HDs are 2015-2019.  T1 platforms is also 2019 1500 trucks.

I came up with an acceptable solution.

I fabricated a custom mount to hold a Ram X phone holder. Some 3/16" aluminum plate made with M6-1mm bolts holding the generic Ram mount that I already had. It's not a 90 degree angle, its kicked out a little to fit the plastic tray. Sprayed flat black a few coats before installation. I used #10 sheet metal screws to actually fasten it to the center console. I carefully used some black nail polish to darken the screws. A liberal application of Gorilla Glue on the back side to do the real work. The screws are just there to keep it in place when the glue is setting. I have three locations for the mount but I'm using the center holes for now. The photo is with a 3" mount. I could use a 6" mount if I need more height but I think this is good for now. It's way higher than putting my phone in the cup holder. And it doesn't interfere with the cup holder. I just moved it back to the rear location. Quite literally as the glue was drying, I wondered if I could have used double sided heavy duty adhesive tape. RAM makes a Ram a Can cup holder mount that basically does the same thing. But you lose your cup holder functionality. I'll run with this for now. My cost of this project is a few hours and $00.00 dollars.
