After market throttle body and spacer question

Thinking about purchasing a JET PowrFlo throttle body for my 18 Silverado (5.3l). Wondering if I should/or if it’d be of any benefit to purchase a throttle body spacer for it as well? Has anyone purchased the JET for their 5.3l and was it worth the money?

Also thinking of getting a tuner but haven’t found one I like yet. Let me know what you got and what has helped make the best gains for hp&torque without adding a cam/force induction/etc. Not looking to make a drag truck, just looking to smoke a few fords off the line and improve towing.

Thanks in advance!

Not worth it in itself. Also dont but most all throttle bodies. If that is what you want and want a gain buy the 6.2l throttle body and intake then get a easy tune and in that change value if intake tonthe stock specs for that. Super simple and there is a gain. Other then that save your money.

I thought the world had long moved on from throttle body spacers.
Yes and no on our trucks yes. On a single plain intake they can help with velocity and over all flow after the blades.

I'd think you should be able to smoke a few Fords as your truck is. I've never had one give my truck any real competition.

Tune alone will open up the truck. I am not even make it up when I say it is 2 times the power after the tune.
