Teach, in my case I actually know one of these folks and have taken him to dinner. So there’s more online than may meet the readers eye! Mystery and intrigue make this even more interesting. One of the proponents of “ my opinion matters the most” departed yesterday in a huff. We are making progress albeit it painful for the group.

I simply don't read most of what y'all post. That solves the issue. I see the same stuff posted all over all day long. I have had enough, not coming here to see off topic political content.

Facts are facts. The sad fallacy of our time is that factual reporting, science, etc have been discredited by the volume of BS spewing via internet.
If a fact is substantiated by good reporting, common sense, and science most likely it’s correct.

Focus on the fact not who or what reported it.

The reason I posted "Hasta Luego" (Spanish: See you later) after he told us to go f*** ourselves is because he'll probably be back, not strong enough to actually stand for what he says he believes in. In fact, he was signed in last night probably looking for some kind of vindication.

It's not a damn airport...don't need to announce your departure OR arrival because....nobody cares

I think there are a few people on here who need to take a break and find other things to do with their time.

What's going on now is why we used to be pretty tight on off topic stuff. May have to go back to that policy. The few that post in these threads (generally 4 now) aren't the only ones reading or having a reaction. Once other members start getting driven away by the back and forth some of you have, this site goes away. My mailbox has quite a number of messages with varying opinions on what needs to be done.

Not everything needs to responded to. You can read something and think. "well that's BS" and then just move on. Works for me. I don't get worked up spend my valuable typing the perfect response hoping it will put somebody in their place or educate them. A forum like this will not solve any world issue or problem. I'll repeat, not going to change any one's opinion on political or religious stuff on this forum. People are here for that nor are they very receptive to being "educated" on these subjects at this point in life.

Everyone has contributed some helpful info to the site.

I'm reminded the only that hasn't done anything to piss someone off on this site is............(drum roll) DONSTAR

PLEASE Remove me if I’m ruining the peace here. Otherwise I call it like I see it.

DONSTAR is a gem but he is Canadian! They are nice.

Oh you'll get removed if you're too much of a problem. That goes for EVERYONE. This site is kinda run as benevolent dictatorship.

I thought I stumbled across in our account setting or somewhere, if we wanted to quit the site you had the option without Admins having to do anything. I can't find it under my profile info, maybe 'cause I'm a mod. I swear I saw it when the site was messing up the other day and I was logged in as Karnut and several other members somehow

Let's all get along
