6 liter truck then?  If it's a Duramax its 3.73.  If it's a 6 liter its 4.10 unless it was a fleet order which being a Denial is highly unlikely.  Look in the glove box at the codes.  GT4 is 3.73 and GT5 is 4.10.

All 2001-2019 trucks with Duramax has 3.73 from factory.

2020’s will have 3.42 with the 10 speed Allison.

RPO code in the glove box. GT4 is 3.73 and GT5 is 4.10 if I recall correctly.

By 'spec' sheet do you mean the window sticker?

The window sticker lists the 'standard' equipment.

The LH side of window sheet lists the options, which can/do override the standard features.

3.73 diff option that is included/required with the Duramax option.

As others posted, if it's a 2016 Dmax, it was born with 3.73 diff ratio

No need to overthink this.

Your Duramax truck does not have 3.73 gears.

Huh?

You've got it backwards.....

I am just curious why you would say that his Duramax does not have 3.73 gears. I have a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD with 3.73 gears which is listed on my build sheet and Window Sticker. The code for 3.73 gears on my build sheet is GT4.

You are right; I meant to say 4.10’s, and corrected my post.
