New limitation found with Stabilitrak

Which rocker toggle switch did you pick up? Was it also from amazon? It fits perfectly in the cig lighter.

Is there a certain Amp and Voltage capacity necessary?

These were actually a tad loose. Ended up using a layer of electrical tape to snug it up. Doesn’t move now.

Am I the only one who thinks this is way more complicated (and warranty-adverse) than unplugging the steering position sensor?


It literally involves less than 20 dollars, and wiring a toggle switch. It also allows for all functions of the truck to continue to work just like normal unlike unplugging they steering sensor. The inline harness can be removed in less than a minute. As far as warranty goes, this would have no direct effect on anything. It’s no different than your sensor going out or coming unplugged.
