Sierra owners manual

Do the owners manuals for the sierras usually come in a leather case or something? Kinda surprised such a pricey truck has an owners manual in a ziplock bag when much less expensive vehicles have nice covers.

My 2018 F150 Manual came in a nice pouch, but the truck sucked.

I'd rather have a good truck than a good case.

With the cost cutting at GM (all in the name of profit to keep Mary Barra's salary up) these days, you're lucky to get a plastic bag.  Or any written manuals at all, for that matter.  The only reason they provide any manuals is the fear of lawsuits from people who could say they didn't understand the safety and control features.

In the 'old' days, not that long ago, we got magnetized drain plugs, drain petcocks, underhood lights, underhood tool boxes, etc, with our GM trucks as standard equipment.  I remember when you could send in a postcard and receive a nice owner's package in the mail later.

Now we give them our trade-in and a big check, get a pat on the head, 2 sets of keys, a kick in the ass, and they laugh as we drive off.

I did get a baseball cap and some playing cards. Just have to register as a “Chevy truck legend”...

You just need to spend more money, $64k was not enough to get some of the premium features...

Seriously, what is with everyone saying "I spent $XX why is this missing"?

I would argue that's true of most manufacturers these days. But in every industry it's getting harder and harder to compete and stay solvent.

True enough, it does kind of sound douchy to say that. I'm going to edit it if I can.
