L86 HEAD GASKETS

I bought a TSP cam kit while these head gaskets where on back order and didn’t know it. I sourced other head gaskets some where else so I could finish my truck. TSP just sent me the head gaskets from my kit.

80 bucks shipped for both. I only took one of them out of the box to take a picture.

4th July Weekend Bump

So I’m curious how you like the cam? What motor you put it on and what kind of improvement you saw? I’m looking into doing something so I may be interested

Love the cam but don’t have any dyno numbers.  I put it in a 2014 L86,  when I called TSP to talk to them about the stage 1 6.2 cam they told me it was more for a automatic LT1 car and was to big if I wanted to run the stock stall.  I tow a lot so I did.  They suggested the stage 2 L83 cam for my 6.2.  They have a bunch of customers with L86’s running it.  I’m glad I went with this cam.  I lost no bottom end and just picked Lot over 2500 RPMs.  It tows really good too.  I got the 32% over fuel lob too so if I get to boost it.  I have a big post about my first cam swap on another forum if you want the link for it.  And Atomic Performance knocked the remote tune out of the park.

Yea send the link. I have a 6.2 also. So your thinking the stage 2 is the way to go? Do you have a website for me to look at what you bought?

The Link has videos I watched to help explain what to do and why they helped.  I’m not a mechanic at all,  I was just willing to give it a go.  So you find out all my mess ups too.  But I had some good guys coaching me through it.
