Tracking sticker

Can someone inform me about if my 2015 Silverado 1500 LTZ would have a tracker, how to find its location in the truck and if I can track it myself? It has this sticker in the windshield when i bought it but have been unable to find a tracker anywhere inside. Does anyone recognize this sticker so I can find out the company that makes it?

Look for extra wires at the battery and follow them

Could be anywhere under the hood or in the cab or under the truck.  It probably isn't working now as nobody is paying for the service, as they generally use cell service to communicate the gps location to a companies servers.

I would still look for and remove the unit, but it may or may not be easy to find (as it might have been installed by a finance company to keep track of the vehicle so it can more easily be located to be repossessed for non-payment).

I found a GPS tracker in my Sierra after I bought it. It was inside the driver side fuse box Velcro'd just below. No stickers though. I removed it. I asked the dealer and they denied any knowledge about it.

My guess is it was installed by the previous owners finance company but not very well hidden at all.

Just a theft or cheating wife deterrent sticker most likely. Probably doesn't have a "tracker". All modern GM's can be tracked, and even shut down remotely through OnStar. The only vehicle you can buy now that cant be tracked or controlled through software is an old carbureted 80's Chevy. Big Brother is watching you...

Yes, my first thought was it is just a sticker  purchased as a theft deterrent or to discourage other drivers from deviating from their disclosed activity..   A real tracker would be an enlightening tool for those parents with teen drivers!  As dieselfan1 said, remove the sticker if it bothers you, otherwise just leave it on as a deterrent.  You will probably stumble on the device (if it exists)  when you are no longer looking!
