Painted tow mirrors

Last week I was on ebay and saw a listing for full power tow mirrors with ready to paint caps. Are all the tow mirrors smooth and non texture now? The add had 10 available but I cant seem to.find it now.

Must not be GM Factory Mirrors. But you can get smooth caps that you can paint.

It doesn't take much to prep the OEM caps for paint as that is what I did. And for a little extra protection, I then had Xpel put on them.

I got a set of paintable caps from boostautoparts and a set of smoked switchbacks to go with. Would have picked them caps up today but the painter at the shop forgot to paint them at the same time as my fender flares. So much for my weekend project...

I just installed Boost Auto paintable tow mirror caps. I went to my local body shop and they wanted $350, I thought that was a little pricey. I watched a videos on how to paint them myself. I ordered my paint kit from touchup direct, you put in your paint code, make, year, and model. I think the kit was $60 and that includes primer, color, and gloss. It actually came out really good.
