Manufacturing  production date on body is label 03/19, think it means 3/1/19 inclusive with odds of 31:1 in favor, or 3/1/19 is also in the clear with new fluid.

I already provided this TSB to my dealer but they said this didn’t cover what was happening. My problem is an extremely hard shift from first to second and from second to first. Going to get them to change the fluid anyway.

Have them replace the transmission valve body and when doing that they can flush the transmission oil.  The transmission expert in dealership is extremely confident that changing the valve body will completely fix the hard shifting and banging..

Mine is doing the same thing, when I back out of my driveway its a violent shift upon acceleration. They just called and told be I need to ensure I come to a complete stop before hitting the gas.  This is a BS answer to a problem with the transmission they obviously dont want to address.  I am beyond annoyed at this point, I almost want to get the transmission to fall out so they have to admit its F'd up.

May not help, but I had a 2015  Denali with the 6.2 and 8A. At about 1500 miles it was doing the slam 2-1 down shift when slowing down -felt and sounded like someone ran into it. They re-flashed it and that was gone. Later, I developed the slight tranny shudder that many had and they did the triple flush and that was gone. The transmission was fine, not perfect, from then until I traded it in with about 50k miles.

I had a hard shift / clunk when shifting into first / second until about 10,000kms. My dad has the same 8 speed and had the same issue. I guess it gets better in time because now I dont feel it

I'm experiencing the same 1st to 2nd clunk / slam / bam! I too got the 'valve body' fix but that is coming "someday". I'm almost tempted to ask for a whole new transmission or mileage thus far extending the warranty as this problem has undoubtedly already beaten up the transmission.
