Intermittent starting problem

2005 1500 5.3L 146k miles. Having intermittent problem with the truck. It wont start. Wont do it all the time. I noticed past few weeks its been little slow to turn over. Monday night it cranked real slow but it did start. Yesterday it would not start. This was after driving it. Cranked 3 times and then nothing. 8 hours later it started but little slow. Then drove home from work and got home. Shut it off and restarted it 5 times fine with no hesitation. It started fine this morning. Battery is 3 years old, starter is 3 years old. All new parts. Alternator is idk how old. Probably original to the truck probably. Tested battery with volt meter and getting 13 volts. Tested charging system and its getting 13 volts. On dash gauge it reads 14 volts. Today it read 16 volts and dropped to 12 when i got to work.

Have the battery load tested at auto store.

Check your primary cables at battery and starter.

Had battery tested and it was bad.
