2018 Silverado 2500 duramax

I’m having issues with the fuel mileage showing on my info panel. Set my cruise at 59 like every Othman and the display showing 13.3 usually at 28-30. Tires are properly inflated  I’m not hauling anything no trailer parking brake isn’t on I can’t figure out what is the problem.

You really expect 28-30 mpg from a duramax 2500?

Maybe he fat fingered it and meant 18-20mpg, which seems more reasonable to ask.  I'd like to shake the hand of the man that drives a Duramax 2500 and gets 28-30mpg because he will have convinced me to go buy one immediately.
