Drivetrain 92 Pickup

Recommended Posts

What would cause drivetrain to seize up?
Drove 80 miles, parked it, it won’t move

Need a little more info. When it’s in drive does it drop RPMs? Is the shifter much easier to move. Will it spin back tires but not move? There are a few possibilities.

Will it rile in neutral?

Put on stands and disconnect driveline. Do the rear wheels turn?

Basically try to determine if it is the transmission or the axle that is locked up.

Rear axle could be brake related.
