Connector hanging

I recently had to drive through some high water with my gmc 2007 Sierra and when I got home it started getting rough in idle. I found this connector hanging, can anyone identify it?

It's not a connector.


That is the filter end for the evap vent valve near the fuel tank. If you follow the hose it leads all the way back to that, it's normally tied up above the transmission to keep it away from water/dust/mud/salt.

Yep...filter for the evap vent valve
